Telmessos

Ancient Telmessos has many stone sarcophagi. The town of Fethiye was build around them. Some of them stand in the middle of a road. On the rock cliff in one side of Fethiye is the Temple of Amyntas, an Ionic temple, cut out of the rock in 350 BCE.
