Gallipoli - World War I Battlefield

In 1915, the Allied Forces tried to capture the Dardanelles to get access to Eastern Europe. English, French, Australian, New Zealand and Indian troops landed near Gallipoli. After nine months of fighting, suffering 100,000 casualties, the Allied forces withdrew.
